Govt extends ban on international flights until April 15



KATHMANDU: The high-level coordination committee on the prevention and containment of COVID-19 has decided to extend the ban on international flights until April 15.

The government had earlier banned all international flights from March 22 to March 31.

A meeting of the committee held today made the decision to this effect in an effort to prevent the spread of novel coronavirus in the country.

Meanwhile, the lockdown, which was supposed to end on Tuesday, will be extended till April 15 if endorsed by the cabinet, the high-level committee has said.
