DANG: A pedestrian has died after being hit by a jeep in Dang district.
The deceased has been identified as 37-year-old Gokarna Budhathoki of Mallarani rural municipality-5 of Pyuthan, said District Police Office (DPO), Dang.
The accident took place when the jeep, Lu 2 Cha 5664, struck Budhathoki at Lamahi municipality-5, Narti on Monday evening.
The DPO, Dang said they are investigating the case after taking the jeep and the driver under control.
