COVID-19: India reports 39,567 new cases; 467 deaths

NEW DELHI: India recorded 39,567new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 9,390,791.

Currently, 454,837 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 8,799,249 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 136,700-mark.

With 467 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 136,705, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.
