Police Headquarters directs Cyber Bureau to take action against VTEN

KATHMANDU: A newly-released song of popular Nepali rapper VTEN alias Samir Ghising has courted controversy yet again.

Police have launched an action against the rapper for using offensive language in a video made public five days ago through his YouTube channel.

Police Spokesperson SSP Kuber Kadayat stated that the Cyber Bureau has been instructed to take action against him.

“The Cyber Bureau has been directed to take action,” he said that, adding that the bureau will carry out further investigation.

Earlier, Ghising was arrested for using obscene words and derogatory words against police. He was later released.
