1,178 Nepalis return home today



KATHMANDU: A total of 1,178 Nepali nationals who were stranded abroad due to COVID-19 and other reasons have returned to Nepal on Tuesday.

According to a press release issued by the COVID-19 Disaster Management Center, 700 Nepalis returned from Saudi Arabia, 247 from the United Arab Emirates, 166 from Malaysia and 65 from in Bahrain.

Likewise, the dead body of a Nepali man who died in Bahrain has been brought.

Earlier, 83,025 Nepali citizens had returned home by Monday.
