Humla records two fresh COVID-19 cases



SIMIKOT: Two additional people have tested positive for coronavirus in Humla district.

Two men aged 35 and 39 were found infected with the virus through a contact tracing after a 22-year-old girl was diagnosed with the COVID-19 on September 20.

According to Prem Bahadur Singh, an official at the Public Health Office, Humla, they had come to Simikot with the infected girl on September 19.

Infection cases were confirmed in them during PCR tests conducted at the laboratory of the Province Hospital.

With this, the number of coronavirus cases has reached four in Humla district.

Earlier, a 22-year-old girl of Sarkeghad-5 Gothi had tested positive for coronavirus as the first case in the district.
