Five ‘Enough is Enough’ campaign activists arrested



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested five ‘Enough is Enough’ campaign activists trying to enter the Home Ministry on Wednesday.

Police arrested them after they had gathered at the southern gate of Singha Durbar this afternoon to enter the Home Ministry.

According to DSP Hari Bahadur Basnet of the Metropolitan Police Circle, Singha Durbar, the youths were arrested after trying to enter the restricted area.

“They were arrested while trying to enter Singha Durbar after gathering in a restricted area,” Basnet said, “They have been taken to the Police Club.”

Chairman of Bibeksheel Nepali, Milan Pandey, said that the activists were arrested when they went to the Ministry of Home Affairs to register the right to information application.
