Accountant at Land Revenue Office dragged to court for graft



KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a case at Special Court against Yugal Kishor Thakur, an accountant at the Land Revenue Office, Bara, on charges of illegally acquiring property.

According to CIAA, Thakur was found to have illegally acquired assets worth Rs 30.4 million.

Similarly, the anti-graft body has demanded to confiscate Rs. 27.6. million in the name of Thakur in Rastriya Banijya Bank, Simara.
