Coronavirus: 53 new cases in Gandaki Province



KATHMANDU: Coronavirus infection has been detected in 53 more people in five districts of Gandaki Province on Monday evening.

According to the Ministry of Social Development, Gandaki, an additional 53 people were found to be infected with coronavirus during tests conducted at the Province Tuberculosis Center, Pokhara and the National Public Health Laboratory in Kathmandu.

With the new cases, the number of cases in the province has reached 949.

Of the 53 new cases on Monday evening, 10 were reported from Syangja, 10 from Tanahun, 14 from Baglung, 13 from Parbat and six from Gorkha.

Similarly, 214 people in the province have recovered so far.
