Two including Indian national arrested with Rs 6.5 million in Kathmandu



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two people including an Indian national from Kalimati area of Kathmandu with Rs 6.5 million which source could not be revealed.

The arrested are Ravi Shankar Singh, a 25-year-old Indian national and Ramesh Singh, 47, of Jitpur in Bara.

According to police, they were arrested along with the money to be used allegedly for illegal money transfer called hundi.

The law enforcement agency said that further investigation was underway.
