Myagdi sees one more case of dengue

No of Dengue case reach 17 in the district



BENI: With one more female case of dengue, the total number of dengue victims in the district has reached 67 on Sunday.

According to the Beni Hospital sources, with dengue positive test results of a 67-year-old female from Mangaladevi-5, Chhiswang, the number of dengue cases in Myagdi has become 17.

Prakash Subedi, the information official of Beni Hospital confirmed that a 67-year-old woman who had been to Beni Hospital for treatment on Saturday tested dengue positive.

“As the woman bore dengue symptoms like high fever, headache, body pain etc. we carried out the tests and found that she was suffering from dengue,” Subedi said.

When the world is combating against the coronavirus pandemic, Myagdi has been fighting against the hazards related to dengue transmission.

Though a hilly district, Myagdi is at high risk of dengue transmission in Nepal.
