Father, son buried to death, 5 injured in Darchula landslide



KAILALI: Two people have died and five others sustained injuries in a landslide at Naugad rural municipality-4 in Darchula district.

The deceased have been identified as four-year-old Sushanta Mahata and his father Chandra Singh Mahat,25, said Distrct Police Office, Darchula.

The condition of Chanamati Mahata among those injured is critical, informed Police Inspector Surendra Joshi of District Police Office, Darchula.

Three houses were damaged when a landslide occurred in the district on Sunday night.
