Two nabbed with 12kg marijuana in Sarlahi



JANAKPURDHAM: Police have nabbed two youths involved in trafficking marijuana from Sarlahi on Friday.

According to Janakpur police, Taushif Raja Miknari, 30, and Ajmal Miknari, 31, were nabbed when they were trafficking cannabis on a bike with an Indian number plate.

“Taushiff Raja Miknari and Ajmal Miknari of Malangwa-3 are held for trafficking marijuana,” DSP Jaya Raj Sapkota, the spokesperson of Province 2 Police, Janakpur said.

According to him, the duo was nabbed with 12 kg of marijuana being carried in an Indian number plate bike from Malangwa-6, Khutauna.

The police are investigating to find out others involved in trafficking.
