Karnali reports 8 new COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: Karnali Province has reported 8 more cases of COVID-19 cases.

Swab tests conducted at the Surkhet Provincial Hospital confirmed 8 coronavirus cases, the Social Development Ministry of the province said.

Chief of the Health Service Division, Karnali, Dr Laxmi Narayan Tiwari said all the eight new patients are from Dailakh district of the province.

Those infected include males – aged 1 to 40 — from the Narayan Municipality-3, and a 20-year-old female from the same municipality.

With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases in Karnali Province has reached 46.
