KATHMANDU: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has decided to release eight captives under its custody on bell in view of the lockdown.

Organizing a press meeting on Friday, the anti-graft body said it would release eight individuals based on the seriousness of the offense they have committed.

“The CIAA has decided to release eight individuals based on the seriousness of the crime they committee and the term they have served,” said the press statement issued.
