COVID-19: Two more Nepali migrants infected in UAE

KATHMANDU: Two more Nepali migrant workers have been infected with the COVID-19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the figures provided by the Ministry of Health and Prevention of the UAE, there are new 72 cases including two Nepali nationals.

With the figure, the total number of coronavirus cases has reached 405 in the Gulf country.

Earlier, two Nepali nationals diagnosed with the novel virus had recovered after treatment.

According to the information provided by the Ministry of Health and Prevention on Friday, a total of 55 people including two Nepalis have recovered so far.

Meanwhile, the UAE government has announced a lockdown for three days in view of the public health.

According to the decision, the lockdown remains effective from March 27 (8 pm) until March 29 (6 am).
