Two Biplav cadres land in police net



RAUTAHAT: Police have arrested two cadres including District Secretary of the outlawed Netra Bikram Chand alias Biplav-led outfit.

According to DSP Hem Bahadur Shahi, the arrested are district member Durga Bal, 39, and District Secretary Dirshana Shahi.

They were arrested from a house of one Indra Thing from Chandrapur-3, Ipilghari.

Police confiscated mobile sets, books and documents among others from their possession.

They have been accused of extorting local traders and torching a tower of Ncell.
