Youth dies in accident



SURKHET: A youth died when a tipper ran over him near Gautam Chowk at Birendranagar Municipality-3 on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified Keshar Bahadur Singh, 21, of Simkhet, Mahabai rural municipality-3 in Kalikot district.

Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office Surkhet, Dilli Raj Panta, said that the tipper with registration number Bhe 1 Kha 2242 knocked down the motorcycle — Bhe 1 Pa 2178 — Singh was riding.

Relatives of the deceased demonstrated by burning tires on the road at Yarichok and Gautam Chowk protesting over the death of the youth.

The have alleged the tipper driver of being reckless. Police have arrested the tipper driver.
