Nepse up 8.62 points in first two hours today



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) has increased by 8.62 points to reach at 2007.34 points in the first two hours on Monday.

The benchmark index soared up 0.43 percent during the period, as displayed by the Nepse index.

Out of 12 sub-groups, the trade and development banks have plunged by 49.49 and 2.77 percent respectively, during the period.

The stock market fell by 40 points yesterday, partly due to the ongoing political turmoil in the country.

According to sources, a total of 3,079,933 shares of 200 companies were traded at Rs 1.752 billion during the period.
