NC staging nationwide demonstration against HoR dissolution today



KATHMANDU: Main opposition Nepali Congress is staging demonstrations against the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) across the country on Monday.

The NC is staging demonstrations, protest rallies and mass meetings in as many as 165 federal constituencies including the Kathmandu Valley of the country today, said Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Krishna Prasad Paudel.

Top-notch leaders of the NC will address in the protest rallies to be organized in different constituencies.

President Sher Bahadur Deuba will address a mass meeting at Madhyapur Thimi municipality in Bhaktapur, while senior leader Ram Chandra Paudel will deliver a speech at Tanahun.

General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala will address a protest rally in Nawalpur, Prakashman Singh at Baneshwor, Spokesperson Bishwa Prakash Sharma at Koteshwor while Gagan Thapa is scheduled to address a mass meeting at Nepalgunj.
