Province 1 Chief contracts coronavirus infection



BIRATNAGAR: Chief of Province no 1, Somnath Adhikari ‘Pyasi’ has contracted coronavirus infection. The infection was found in him on Friday night, according to the Province Chief’s press advisor Khemraj Adhikari.

The Province no 1 Chief gave his swab for testing at the Province Public Health Laboratory Biratnagar on Friday morning after he showed general symptoms of infection. His spouse and an Armed Police Force (APF) policeman have also tested positive for the coronavirus infection, Press Advisor Adhikari said.

The health condition of the Province Chief and his spouse is normal. They are in home isolation at their house in Biratnagar.
