KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) and Prime Minister KP Oli has said that the proposal submitted at the Secretariat by another Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal alias Prachanda is against the party’s constitution.
Furnishing a written reply to Prachanda’s allegation at Saturday’s Secretariat meeting, Oli said that Prachanda’s proposal was against the constitution and was distributed without any general etiquette.
“Prachanda’s proposal has no gone through enough formalities to discuss or consult in the meeting; it is just a combination of personal dissatisfaction, boundless frustration, and vested interests. This is revocable at first glance, “Oli has mentioned, “I want to make it clear that no one should be allowed to deviate from party meetings and be distracted by personal accusations and frustrations. ”
Oli has further mentioned that the presentation style, language style, and content of the ‘proposal’ distributed by Prachanda have caused a serious crisis in the party.
Earlier, at the Secretariat meeting held on November 13, PM Oli had put forth his views by refuting the proposal and accusations leveled on him by Executive Chairman of the party Prachanda.
