Four injured as Jagadamba Steels furnace explodes

BARA: Four workers sustained critical injuries when the furnace of Jagadamba Steel Pvt. Ltd. in Jitpur Simara exploded Saturday morning.

According to District Police Office, Bara, Jagadamba Steel’s Jitpur Simara-based furnace used for molding iron exploded with a loud noise this morning.

“The explosion came with a big bang leaving four workers badly injured ,” Bara Police said, adding,” The injured are taken to Birgunj-based National Medical College.”

The police are investigating further to know about the cause of explosion.
