NEPSE index increases by 41.20 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index increased by 41.20 points as trading opened on Wednesday after five days due to Dashain holidays.

The NEPSE started at 1,606 points and closed at 1,647 points. In this context, 93.22 million shares have been traded today, and a turnover of Rs 2.72 billion has been made.

Despite the rise in the NEPSE index today, the trade sub-index declined by 8.83 points.

The bank sub-index increased by 55 points, hotel by 32 points, development bank by 60 points, hydropower by 3 points and finance by 13 points, non-life insurance by 47 points, manufacturing by 20 points, others by 14 points, microfinance by 25 points, life insurance by 110 points and mutual fund group by 0.13 points.
