Bagmati Pradesh Governor Prasain tests positive for COVID-19



KATHMANDU: The Governor of Bagmati Pradesh Bishnu Prasain has tested positive for COVID-19.

Posting a message on social networking sites, Governor Prasain said his swab sample report came out positive on Tuesday.

He had gone to his house based in Mechinagar of Jhapa from the office of the governor in Hetauda for Dashain festival.

He had been suffering from body ache and sweating for the last five days. His health condition, however, is normal.

Meanwhile, his son Rajesh has also been diagnosed with COVID-19.
