India’s COVID-19 cases cross 7.9 million mark



KATHMANDU: India recorded 42,965 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, taking the caseload to 7,988,853.

Currently, 611,605 are undergoing treatment at various isolation centers and hospitals. Meanwhile, 7,257,194 have returned home after treatment.

Similarly, the number of deaths from the coronavirus in India has crossed the 120,000-mark.

With 519 deaths in a single day, the number of deaths from the virus has reached 120,054, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometers.
