NEPSE index down by 4.73 points

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index fell by 4.73 points and reached 1560.83 on Monday.

Similarly, the Sensitive Index has increased by 0.87 to 309.60. A total of 6,997,420 shares of 191 companies were traded at a value of Rs 1.69 billion.

Shares of two sub-indices rose and shares of ten sub-indices declined.

While development banks witness an increase by 2.24 and finance by 11.41, banking 4.03, trade 14.69, hotel 19.39, hydropower 2.91, non-life insurance 49.83, manufacturing 19.64, others 0.1, microfinance.

Life insurance saw a decline of 7.61 points, life insurance by 52.91 points and collective investment funds by 0.05 points.
