Sauraha hotels offering discount to tourists



CHITWAN: Hotels and restaurants entrepreneurs in Chitwan have announced discount packages in a bid to revive the business, which has been adversely affected by coronavirus pandemic.

The entrepreneurs announced up to 30 per cent in subsidy in their services coinciding with the World Tourism Day.

According to the Hotel Association of Sauraha, they were working out to provide subsidy in each tourism related services.

The Association is also planning to revive the tourism industry with different attractive packages.

It said that they are focusing to sustain the business from domestic tourists.

Sauraha has about 120 hotels and 100 restaurants with 5,500 beds.

The hotels and restaurants, which had remained closed since March 24, reopened on September 17.
