490 Nepalis repatriated today

KATHMANDU: A total of 490 Nepalis stranded abroad have been repatriated on Friday.

Those citizens arrived home from three flights of Nepal Airlines Corporation, Himalaya Airlines and Qatar Airways, the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) officials said.

NAC brought 262 passengers and 16 dead bodies from Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia while 156 Nepalis arrived home from the same city in the flight of Himalaya Airlines.

Likewise, Qatar Airways brought 72 Nepalis back home from Doha. Qatar Airways took 127 passengers from TIA.

According to the TIA, six international flights of different airlines are scheduled to be held on Saturday as well.

On Saturday, planes will land at TIA from Singapore, Kuwait, Kuala Lumpur and Kunming of China. It is said that Nepal Airlines is scheduled to bring Nepalis from Kula Lumpur and Kuwait.
