Health Ministry enlists 3 more hospitals as COVID-19 Hospital

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Health and Population has added three more hospitals in the list of COVID-19 hospitals in the country.

Speaking during the regular press briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population, Spokesperson of the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam stated that the government has added the Birgunj-based National Medical College, and the Kathmandu-based Kantipur Hospital and Jana Maitri Hospital as COVID Hospitals of the country.

Spokesperson Dr. Gautam added that the Ministry has added the capacity of the Central and Provincial Hospitals.

According to him, the Central Hospital will get 1000 beds added whereas the Provincial Hospital will get 1,957 beds added. Similarly, 649 local levels will also get 3,245 beds added in the local levels too.
