Kathmandu Valley witnesses 415 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: Establishing itself as a corona hub of the country, Kathmandu Valley witnessed a total of 415 new cases of coronavirus on Friday.

According to Prof. Dr. Jageshwor Gautam, the spokesperson at the Ministry of Health and Population, the Valley saw 350 cases in Kathmandu, 54 in Bhaktapur and 11 in Lalitpur.

The number of coronavirus cases is increasing alarmingly in the capital of late.

The overall case ratio in the tests is also increasing lately.

Out of 10,229 swabs tested in different labs in last 24 hours, the country saw 927 cases of coronavirus making the coronavirus case tally at 36,456 till date.
