Gautam Buddha International Airport officials held with bribe



BUTWAL: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has arrested two junior staff of the Gautam Buddha International Airport, Bhairahawa with Rs 400 thousand bribe on Tuesday.

According to CIAA Butwal sources, Office Assistant Vishwonath Lodh and abettor Mahendra Prasad Yadav were arrested while receiving bribe from the customers.

Suresh Bhusal, the spokesperson of CIAA Butwal, Lodh and Yadav had sought some money from the customers assuring them to facilitate in providing compensation of the land taken for the airport.

The alleged were arrested while carrying out transaction at Bhairahawa-based Century Commercial Bank.
