Gold price hits historic high of Rs 98,200 per tola



KATHMANDU: Gold price increased by Rs 700 per tola in the domestic market on Tuesday, setting a new high of Rs 98,200 per tola (11.664 grams).

According to Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association (FENEGOSIDA), hallmark gold is being sold for Rs 98,200 per tola today.

The price of hallmark gold was Rs 97,500 per tola on Monday. Similarly, tejabi gold is being traded at Rs 97,760.

Likewise, the price of silver has increased by Rs 35 today to reach Rs 1,245 per tola.
