Bahrabise Hospital to get PCR machine

BAHRABISE: Central committee member of the Nepali Congress, Mohan Bahadur Basnet, has been providing support to local people on behalf of party and on his own to prevent coronavirus infection.

Leader Basnet on Saturday expressed commitment that he would manage a PCR machine at Barhabise Hospital.
He added that local level should also play active role at a time when there is no arrangement for swab test via PCR method in the district.

Government bodies have not been able to carry out activities in prevention and treatment of coronavirus as per people’s expectation, leader Basnet blamed.

The NC leader further expressed worry over government’s mismanagement and mishandling of quarantines, PCT test and treatment of COVID-19 patients.

Contract tracing is poor and financial irregularities are reported on purchase of health equipment, he added.

Also the former Minister for Communication and Information Technology, Basnet had distributed health supplies to health workers, security personnel and general people in the district with the coordination of party and sister organisations.

He also brought 613 health workers of the district under the corona insurance scheme at his own initiative. RSS
