Education Ministry prepares to direct for holding postponed university exams

KATHMADNU: The University Grants Commission has recommended taking the postponed examination of the universities by maintaining security protocols for COVID-19.

The commission has recommended that the universities should consider holding regular examinations in the first priority and take the examination for two semesters at the same time in the upper semester or year if holding examinations currently is not possible, media reports said on Sunday.

The committee formed by the Ministry of Education under the convenership of the chairperson of the University Grants Commission has submitted its report to the Ministry of Education.

On the basis of the recommendation of the same report, the Minister of Education Giriraj Mani Pokharel is preparing to give instructions to the Commission and the universities on virtual classes and examinations.
