304 Nepalis stranded in Jogmani rescued

MORANG: As many as 304 Nepali nationals stranded along the Jogmani border have been rescued.

District Police Office, Biratnagar informed that the Nepali nationals returning from different parts of India were stranded on the border due to the lockdown.

All the 304 people have been kept at the ‘holding area’ in the DAV School, Biratnagar, Morang police spokesperson Man Bahadur Rai have said.

Office bearers of Duhabi Municipality-4 have taken 23 of them to be kept at the quarantine.
