Health Minister confers with state ministers on response to COVID-19

KATHMANDU: Minister for Health and Population Bhanubhakta Dhakal held discussions with the Social Development Ministers of all seven States regarding the works carried out for the prevention and control of coronavirus.

Through a video conference with the states’ ministers, he emphasized on making the prevention and control measures more effective, Ministry’s expert advisor Dr Khem Karki said.

Secretary at the Ministry Yadav Koirala, expert advisor Dr Karki, Department of Health director general Mahendra Prasad Shrestha and joint secretary and commander of the Incident Command System at the Ministry, Dr Gunaraj Lohani also participated in the video conference along with Minister Dhakal.

COVID-19 has been found in 772 people while four people have died from this pandemic so far in the country.
