Ward chair dies in course of quarantine management

KANCHANPUR:   A ward chairman deployed in the management of quarantine has died in Kanchanpur district.

Kallu Rana, the ward chair of Krishnapur municipality-7 died on Tuesday night, confirmed Mayor of Krishnapur municipality, Karna Hamal.

According to Hamal, Rana died after he suddenly fainted in the course of quarantine management at Rastriya Secondary School.

His body has been kept at Seti Provincial Hospital, Dhangadhi.

Cardiac arrest is suspected behind his death.  His swab will be tested for Coronavirus at the hospital, said Hamal.
