American Idol: Nepali singer Dibesh Pokharel appeals for votes for 10 finalists



KATHMANDU: Nepali youth singer Dibesh Pokharel (Arthur Gunn) has appealed for votes to reach the top 10 finalists in the American Idol.

With the premier show performance on Sunday, the voting for the reality show has started.

Posting a message on his Instagram, Dibesh has appealed to one and all for votes to get through the elimination round. Top 10 finalists will be selected out of 20 contestants through votes.

“I would like to thank you all for helping me all through by casting votes. The premier show is taking place on Sunday for the American Idol. This is an elimination round.  I need your votes to get through this round,” reads his Instagram post.

People can vote him through text messages, website and American Idol app and one can vote up to 30 times.

The reality show is bringing out its program amidst Coronavirus pandemic that has wreaked havoc across the world. The contestants get connected through their respective homes themselves.
