NA deployed to ensure lockdown in Hatuwagadhi rural municipality



BHOJPUR: Nepal Army has been deployed to ensure the lockdown in the Hatuwagadhi rural municipality in Bhojpur district after a Coronavirus case was found in the area.

The soldiers from the First Rifle Battalion based in Ghodetar Base Camp have been deployed around the affected area after the rural municipality sealed the checkpoints bordering with the other rural municipalities.

The locals have been warned to maintain social distancing and stay safe in the area in view of the further spread of the novel virus, said Shambhu Karki, Chief of the Base Camp.

A 26-year-old youth, a Saudi Arabia returnee, has been found infected with Coronavirus in the rural municipality.
