Bagmati State CM vows to ensure essential supplies

HETAUDA: Chief Minister of Bagmati State, Dormani Poudel has vowed to implement all possible measures to prevention the possible risk of hunger when the country is under a weeklong lockdown amid fears of an outbreak of the coronavirus.

In a message today, Chief Minister Poudel assured essential supplies would be ensured and provisions would be taken to support livelihood of poor, daily-wage earners and weaker sections of the society if the duration of lockdown against the COVID-19 is needed to be extended.

Saying that the COVID-19 pandemic is emerging as a grave threat to the entire human beings, he said it is getting more aggressive and in these challenging hours.

He also urged all Nepali people to follow the basic preventive measures suggested by the government against the disease and to remain extra careful so as avoid the prevention risk.
