Dahal takes stock of PM Oli’s health condition

KATHMANDU: Chairman of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal reached Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital (TUTH)’s Manmohan Cardiovascular and Transplant Center on Friday morning.

Dahal reached the center to take stock of the health condition of Prime Minister KP Oli undergoing treatment at the center.

According to sources, they discussed the lockdown, COVID-19 pandemic and roles to be played by the party and the government.

PM Oli was admitted to the center after encountering problem related to increased heartbeat, according to the Prime Minister’s Press Adviser Surya Thapa.

The PM’s personal physician Prof Dr. Divya Singh Shah has said the Prime Minister will return to his residence today itself as his health condition is back to normal.

The PM had undergone a successful kidney transplant at the center for the second time on March 4.
