Govt to take over three more hospitals for treating COVID-19 patients

KATHMANDU: The government has initiated discussions take over three hospitals of Kathmandu – the Kathmandu Medical College (KMC), Janamaitri Hospital, and Ganesh Man Singh Hospital for coronavirus patients.

According to the Minister for Tourism, Yogesh Bhattarai, the government is considering to take over these three hospitals considering their human resources and infrastructure.

The high-level coordination committee to fight coronavirus has entrusted Minister Bhattarai to look for places for quarantine.

It should be noted that the government has already converted the Teku and Patan hospitals into special hospitals for coronavirus.
