Prasai to provide B&C Hospital to treat COVID-19 patients

KATHMANDU: Durga Prasai has expressed his readiness to hand over his Birtamode-based B&C Hospital for the treatment of Covid-19 patients.

Prasai, who runs the hospital in Birtamode of Jhapa district, has said his doctors were ready to work at this difficult period of time provided that the government provided them with the necessary protective gears and medical kits.

Prasai informed that B&C Hospital has 100 ICU beds, 25 ventilators, and some 900 health workers, including 105 doctors.

According to him, he has already forwarded his proposal to the Minister of Health.
