COVID-19: 613 isolation beds in 80 hospitals across the country



KATHMANDU: A total of 613 isolation beds in 80 hospitals throughout the country has been prepared to treat patients infected with coronavirus.

The Ministry of Health says some 613 beds have been established meant for treating coronavirus-infected patients.

In Bagmati Province alone, 179 isolation beds in 43 hospitals have been set aside the coronavirus patients.

Likewise, the government has prepared 67 isolation beds in 13 hospitals of Province 1; 98 in 5 hospitals of Province 2; 113 in 21 hospitals of Gandaki Province; 89 in 14 hospitals of Pradesh 5; 20 isolation beds in one hospital of Karnali Province; and 47 in 18 hospitals of Sudurpaschhim Province.
