KATHMANDU: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) has started an investigation against depot Chief Maheshman Shrestha accused of losing a master key of tankers used in delivering Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF).

The master key was lost on February 2 when Shrestha was Chief of Sinamangal depot.

NOC said an investigation against Shrestha started after summoning him to NOC Headquarters as only depot Chief knows the password of the drawer where the key is kept.

NOC started the locking system to curtail theft and leakage in course of delivery.
