Kathmandu Valley records 208 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 208 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 175 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 6 in Bhaktapur, and 27 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile, the country recorded a total of 481 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,58,181 in the country as of Sunday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 6,493 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 731 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 2,49,863 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, six persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,825.
