People will restore the HoR: NCP leader Bhusal

BUTWAL: Former Minister and leader of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Ghana Shyam Bhusal expressed the hope that the Supreme Court (SC) would consider the constitutional provisions and public sentiment while giving verdict on the case filed against the dissolution of the House of Representatives (HoR).

Addressing a district level gathering of NCP leaders and cadres of the Prachanda-Nepal camp, leader Bhusal expressed his confidence that the SC will consider the spirit and the provisions made in the Constitution and warned that provided the public opinion is disregarded, people will restore the dissolved House of Representatives on their own.

He said that the nation will be doomed provided the parliament is not restored.

“Leaving a few African nations as exception, I have found all nations in the world esteem the people’s opinion and the spirit of the constitution very high,” Bhusal sais, adding, “I am optimistic that the SC, irrespective of the pressure from the executives, will restore the HoR.”
