Provide health risk allowance to health workers: Health Ministry

KATHMANDU: Ministry of Health and Population has directed all COVID hospitals and other concerned authorities to provide the health risk allowance to the health-workers and staffs involved in the treatment and care of coronavirus infected people.

Issuing a press release on Friday, Samir Kumar Adhikari, the Co-spokesperson of the Ministry of Health has asked all the concerned authorities including the COVID hospitals to provide allowance to the medics and health workers involved in the treatment of coronavirus patients.

The release has stated that the Secretary level’s decision held on Friday has decided to inform all that the Ministry has already facilitated the budget for the purpose and got it sent to the concerned centers and hospitals including the budget in a lump sum.

The Ministry has added that it has already dispatched more than 668.7 million rupees for the purpose.
