Five including ward chair get arrest warrant on fake citizenship charges



BAGLUNG: District Court Baglung has issued an arrest warrant to five people including ward chairman on the charge of recommending for a fake citizenship.

The warrant arrest had been issued to five individuals including ward chairman of Baglung municipality-4 Dhruba Bahadur KC, to this effect, said Police Inspector of District Police Office, Baglung Bijaya Bhandari.

Following the issuance of the warrant arrest, DPO, Baglung arrested former ward no. 4 secretary Prem Bahadur Khadka and 30-year-old Santosh Acharya who witnessed the recommendation.

Meanwhile, a team of police has been deployed to arrest ward chair KC, Gurudatta Acharya, the father of the receiver of the fake citizenship and Mahendra Sapkota, a local.

Earlier, police had arrested Pankaj Sapkota of Baglung municipality-6 on the charge of obtaining a fake citizenship.
